Responsibilities: implement comprehensive alcohol and other
drug programs (AOD) that include assessment, prevention, and treatment
programming and that reflect the university’s core values; focus on
consultation/outreach, group and individual counseling services, and alcohol
and other drug education for the university student population; conduct
training and supervision for students; monitor student compliance with a web-based
substance abuse and sexual assault prevention program; serve on unit and
university governance and program committees as appointed and assigned.
qualifications: MA in clinical or
counseling psychology with a minimum of 1,000 hours field experience. Degree must be completed before employment
with application for LMHC-A by December, 2015; experience in providing substance
abuse assessment and treatment; fundamental knowledge of alcohol and its
effects on human behavior, as well as knowledge of other substance abuse
prevalent among college age students; interest and background in alcohol and
Preferred qualifications: ABD or Ph.D. in clinical or counseling
psychology from APA-accredited internship and program with experience in AOD
counseling and programming; licensed psychologist in Indiana. Ph.D. or Psy.D. completed by December, 2015;
two years of experience providing AOD assessment, intervention and treatment
services to university students.
