Enterprise Security Engineer, Information Technology Services

Professional position available September 2, 2014.  

Responsibilities:  provide technical support in all areas of Information Security Services for the Office of Information Technology; implement and maintain enterprise security controls; work closely with the Director of information Security initiatives.  

Minimum qualifications:  bachelor’s degree; two years of related professional experience in a technology related field; must be highly available and be willing to participate in information security operations and incidents for the entire university which may require responding to or insuring the response of others on a 24-hour per day, 365-day per year basis; ability to pass/maintain relevant related background/records checks; excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

Preferred qualifications:  bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, applied technology, ICS, MIS, or related technology field; over five years of experience in a technology related field; relevant higher education experience; relevant background  in information security services; industry recognized information security certifications such as CISSP, CSA, or CISA.
