Professional position available November 1, 2013.
Responsibilities: provide integration and unification of communication technologies (data—i.e., network/voice; i.e., telephone/video; i.e., video conferencing); provide ongoing monitoring, analysis and support of the unified communication infrastructure.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, computer science, or closely related IT field; three years of technical experience in higher education; ability to write proposals, act as a vendor liaison, make presentations to professional peers, and work closely with IT management; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications: more than three years of experience in data, voice or video communications; experience within computer facilities in a large organization or university setting; relevant certifications and/or specialized communication technology training.
