Professional contract position available November 1, 2013.
Major responsibility: provide support to the Principal Investigator with the NIH grant using a multidisciplinary approach to study glucose metabolism in transgenic and knockout mice.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry or a biological science; experience or willingness to handle mice; experience working in a laboratory; ability to adhere to a protocol, meet deadlines requested by Principal Investigator; be highly motivated and work well independently.
Preferred qualifications: master’s degree in a biological science; experience with mouse husbandry, mouse behavior, microscopy; additional years of related experience.
