Professional two-year contract position available July 1, 2014.
Responsibilities: find grant opportunities in English Language Training for Center for International Development in developing countries; communicate with U.S. government and other granting agencies regarding plans for development assistance in ELT; travel to countries where externally funded projects are located to support grant activities and to develop additional grant opportunities.
Minimum qualifications: master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or closely related field; experience teaching English in at least two foreign countries. Must be willing to travel to Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and other developing countries.
Preferred qualification: one year of experience in managing a donor-funded English language project overseas.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
