Project Manager, University Marketing and Communications

Professional position available immediately.  

Responsibilities:  manage interactive marketing projects and deadlines; work with others in UMC to create interactive marketing project charters with clients and establish and communicate milestones and deadlines; create reports for leadership on project status and resourcing to stay within budget and scope; oversee the day-to-day management of graduate assistants and Web Content Specialists; support the interactive marketing team in the areas of website development and maintenance; create tools and strategies to keep a large and diverse portfolio of projects across the interactive marketing team on time and on budget.    

Minimum qualifications:  bachelor’s degree; at least two years of demonstrated project management experience; strong interest and aptitude in developing and/or maintaining websites; ability to learn new skills quickly; ability to meet deadlines, create and adhere to project production schedules, and prioritize a large number of tasks; detail oriented; strong communication skills.  

Preferred qualifications: at least three years of experience with project management in higher education; proven experience with a content management system; proven experience in interactive marketing project management.
