Responsibilities: create elegant, customer-focused designs, information architecture, interaction flows, visuals and assets for existing and new sites, applications, and experiences in alignment with university branding; provide both highly analytical as well as creative ideas to any interactive marketing design engagement; lead the visual design of web experiences; lead usability studies, analytics, and user research and use these results to create engaging experiences and wireframes.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree; three years of user design experience for Web and Web applications; five years of professional experience; demonstrate prototyping experience; experience with responsive design; strong conceptualization and visual communication ability; strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS; demonstrate knowledge of the latest interaction design patterns and trends; strong ability to communicate and collaborate.
Preferred qualifications: master’s degree in human computer interaction or related design field; two years of experience with enterprise content management systems; strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and associated design tools.
