Professional contract position available immediately.
Responsibilities: using the Office of Charter School’s Academic Performance Framework and BSU’s collective schools data, conduct annual educational reviews of each school, write annual school performance reports, and provide additional information that will be used in considering charter renewal and accreditation decisions.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree; at least five years of experience in working with data analysis and school improvement; ability to read, analyze, and interpret common statistical and performance data and to draw actionable conclusions; possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as excellent writing and oral communication skills; demonstrate experience in successful goal setting and achievement; ability to work independently and efficiently; create efficient systems to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously; ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary; possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy; ability to provide own transportation.
Preferred qualifications: master’s degree in education or related area; experience with designing and implementing school accountability programs; experience working with state assessment data; experience in designing and writing research in an educational setting; experience in charter schools; experience in community development, program management, and/or government.
