Student Life Counselor, Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities

The Indiana Academy is a residential high school for gifted and talented juniors and seniors from the state of Indiana.Full-time professional contract live-in position available July 2013.  

Responsibilities: programming, daily interaction with students, and maintaining the general safety and welfare of the student body. Extraordinary opportunity to be a positive role model to Indiana’s brightest and most dedicated students.  

Minimum qualifications:  bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution by date of first pay period; experience with high school students; evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to be flexible; possess and maintain a valid Indiana driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy (and 21 years of age).   

Preferred qualifications: experience as a resident assistant or summer residential camp counselor; experience with gifted high school students.
