Temporary full-time staff position available immediately through October, 2014, with possibility of renewal.
Responsibilities: process Electronic Personnel Action Forms for faculty and professional personnel; create assignments for all employment groups; advise faculty and staff on immigration rules and regulations; serve as back up for report generation in Argos as a Report Writer for basic reports.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree in business/office administration, office technology, or related business field or equivalent; three years of experience working with databases such as payroll, human resources, accounting, or other related areas including verifying the accuracy of information; experience in a position requiring confidentiality; excellent oral and written communications skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office; excellent keyboarding skills; attention to detail; excellent proofreading skills.
Preferred qualifications: human resources and/or payroll experience in a university environment; Banner experience.
Starting salary $38,001 with excellent benefits.
