Employee FAQ

I -9 Verification

E-Verify  Legislation passed by the Indiana general Assembly requires Ball State University to use E-Verify, a federal online system, to check the names and identification documents of all new employees to ensure they are legally authorized to work in the United States.

E-mail/BSU IDs E-mail accounts and employee IDs are the gateways to BSU resources. Employees must have these in order to access Self-Service Banner (SSB), obtain parking permits, take advantage of the resources in Bracken Library, and receive discounted tickets to university events and ball games.

After obtaining your alternate I.D. number during Employee Orientation, go to Office of the Registrar in Lucina and ask for an employee ID card. That office can assist with the email address.
