Information about A. Jane Morton

A. Jane Morton demonstrated outstanding service to all segments of the university during her 25 years of service. She was dedicated to her job responsibilities and was active in her church and numerous Ball State organizations.

A. Jane Morton's legacy to Ball State University is an award recognizing one regular full-time staff employee annually for best emulating her expectations of excellence through service.

Jane's legacy came into being the year immediately after her death when the Office of Academic Research initiated the award in memory of Jane.

The presentation of the first A. Jane Morton Award was in 1980.
