A Day on Diversity The workshop, "A Day on Diversity" presented by Keith Woods, Dean of the Poynter Institute occurred August 28, 2009. The workshop was a one-day workshop for faculty that focused on integrating aspects of diversity into the curriculum.
Muslim Interfaith Fellowship Dialogue Meeting Despite their differences, believers and nonbelievers generally agree on issues related to personal integrity and social justice. Dr. Bennett will present a series of questions designed to bring believers and nonbelievers together for the benefit of society as a whole.
2009 Diversity Research Symposium The 2009 Diversity Research Symposium will focus on research and writing projects in any discipline that involve cultural identities such as age, race, geographical location, ethnicity, physical and mental ability, socioeconomic class, gender, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, language, and their intersections. Faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students are all invited to submit proposals by July 1st. Registration is free!
