Kathy’s career has allowed her to travel and work throughout the country, but as the saying goes, there’s no place like home.
The Anderson, Indiana, native is proud to lead the marketing and communications team here at Ball State University, enamored by the tremendous opportunity and potential that exist here. And living and working essentially in her hometown’s backyard, is a nice perk.
Kathy comes to Ball State most recently by way of the University of Cincinnati where she helped lead the university’s Proudly Cincinnati campaign, an eight-year, $1 billion fundraising and engagement effort—only 1 percent of all American colleges and universities have ever successfully achieved.
Prior to that time, Kathy helped develop strategic, creative marketing plans for three major brands housed within Procter & Gamble Professional, resulting in the implementation of major initiatives that advanced the brands.
While Kathy is committed to her career, she’s also passionate about bettering the world around her. Throughout her life, she’s volunteered with organizations that promote young people and has strengthened opportunities available to youth in her community. But Kathy’s greatest love is her daughter, Gracie, who is proud to be Ball State’s newest young Cardinal.
