Brett brings three decades of higher education marketing and communications experience to Ball State, along with a passion for helping clients connect with their audiences. His professional accomplishments range from boosting student enrollments to promoting record-breaking fundraising campaigns.
He serves his clients by building strategic partnerships, developing creative plans, and managing projects to heighten recognition and understanding of campus programs and initiatives. Brett’s campus partners include the Ball State University Foundation, College of Health, and College of Sciences and Humanities.
When Brett is not obsessing about the arts, sports, cooking, or lawn care, he spends time with his wife, Shannon, and their son, Greg, an elementary schooler who shares his parents’ love of reading and travel. The McLaughlin home also includes Truman, a terrier of boundless energy and bravado.
