If you have a current Ball State parking permit, you need to register each vehicle that will be using the permit. You must report changes to the license plate number or registered owner within five business days. You cannot use your permit on a vehicle that belongs to another student, employee or a family member of another student or employee. You cannot register a vehicle that belongs to another student, employee or a family member of another student or employee. Doing so will result in revocation of your parking privileges.
To add a vehicle to your permit or make a change to a current registered vehicle, you must provide the following information to the Office of Parking Services in person or online. We cannot make changes over the phone.
To add a vehicle or make changes online, click here and choose Parking Account Main. Once you have signed into your account, choose View Your Permits. Click on your current permit. You can make changes to a vehicle that is already registered by clicking on the Plate Number in the list of Associated Vehicles and choosing Edit. If you would like to add a new vehicle to your permit, click the Add Vehicles to Permit button. You can choose a vehicle that you have registered in the past from the list or click the Add a New Vehicle button at the bottom of the screen.
Do not use your Ball State parking permit on a rental or loaner car. If you will be driving a rental or loaner car, you will be issued a free temporary permit for the lot you have your current permit in. To receive your free temporary permit, bring the following information for the rental/loaner car to the Office of Parking Services.
