Special 97 permits are available to students with severe disabilities. Recommendations for these permits will be made by the Office of Disability Services.  Special 97 permits will be issued free of charge to students who have a valid Ball State permit. 

Location of Special 97 Parking 

The location of your Special 97 parking is dependent on the type of Ball State parking permit you have.  To see which parking lots your Special 97 permit will allow you to park in, find your Ball State permit type below.

Stadium Permit - Students who have been issued a stadium permit along with a Special 97 permit can park in the Special 97 spaces in any yellow faculty/staff, green commuter, or red restricted lot.  They cannot park in Special 97 spaces located in blue housing lots.   

Residence Hall Permit - Students who have been issued a residence hall permit along with a Special 97 permit can park in the Special 97 spaces in any yellow faculty/staff or green commuter lot along with the Special 97 spaces in their assigned blue housing lot. 

Restricted Permit - Students who have been issued a restricted permit along with a Special 97 permit can park in the Special 97 spaces in any yellow faculty/staff or green commuter lot along with the Special 97 spaces in their assigned restricted lot.
