Anyone who is not a Ball State University student or employee is considered a visitor. Visitors are required to comply with all university parking regulations as well as with city ordinances and state laws. 

Parking Options for Campus Visitors

Pay by the hour or for the whole day in the metered area of the parking garages.

Parking meters with a 45 minute time limit are available throughout campus. Check the meter head for enforcement hours.

Visitor Permits are available by visiting the Office of Parking Services.

Parents of students who live in the residence halls are eligible for a free Cardinal Pride Permit.  

During the fall and spring semesters, parking is available without a permit after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in yellow faculty/staff and green surface commuter lots and after 7 p.m. in red restricted lots.  See enforcement hours for more information.

 

University Apartment Visitor Parking

Visitor parking is available to anyone visiting University Apartments, including students and employees.
