Employee Tuition Remission

The contingent portion of the general fee will be waived for qualified dependents. They will be required to pay the dedicated fee, special course fees, audit fees and all other special fees. Check with the Bursar's Office for a current fee schedule. Tuition remissions under this program are limited to the more restrictive of the following two limits:
Employee must have been employed for 12 consecutive months if they are regular full-time staff or service employee, professional continuing contract or tenure/tenure track faculty. Employee must have been employed for 24 consecutive months if they are contract faculty/professional. If contract faculty do not continue benefits during July and August by signing a Continuation of Benefits Form, they will be considered to have had a break in service and will need to complete 24 months of employment. BenefitTuition remission for undergraduate or graduate courses equal to the greater of contingent portion of general fees and special course fees, or 50% of total.
