Payroll and Employee Benifits

Open Enrollment 2013

Open Enrollment begins on Tuesday, May 7th and will run through Friday, May 31st, 2013.  Our annual Open Enrollment period provides all benefits-eligible employees an opportunity to make changes in the following benefit plans:

  • Medical
  • Dental
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) – Medical and Dependent Care

Major Announcement:  Short Plan Year (6-months)

As we continue to make enhancements to our healthcare plans, we are pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2014 both our plan and benefit years will be aligned (January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014).   To make this transition possible, during this Open Enrollment we will be rolling out a shorter (6 month) plan year for the period July 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013, which will enable the University to change the next health care plan year to January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014.
