Biographical Information
Corporal Michael J. Baker Sr. joined Ball State Police Department in September of 1983. He graduated from Gary Westside High School, and Ball State University with an Associates Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Corporal Baker Sr. graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. He is an ILEA instructor in firearms, shot gun, and general studies. He is also one of the department armors for the Glock/Smith and Wesson. Corporal Baker Sr. is a Field Training Officer and a SFST Instructor. He is also a foster parent. Corporal Baker Sr.'s hobbies include building street rods, being a musician, and church activities.
