The Ball State University Student Health Center, located in the Amelia T. Wood building, provides ambulatory health care for currently enrolled sick and injured students in addition to providing care for on-the-job injuries for Ball State University employees. The health center is comprised of a walk-in clinic and pharmacy on the first floor, Women’s Center and Health Education on the second floor, and a physical therapy unit on the lower level. The Ball State Employee QuickClinic, located on the lower level, provides health services to university employees for acute illnesses.
Our mission is to provide ambulatory medical services and patient education. Our goal is to have you leave the center not only feeling better but also better informed.
The health center is not intended to replace your personal health care provider. We would like to provide care for students and help prevent unnecessary visits home for medical care. Our purpose is to complement the services of your health care provider. We encourage you to ask questions about your medical condition and to be sure you fully understand your treatment plan.
IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital employs the health care providers at the center. Our staff works together with the university to meet the health needs of students.
If you have health insurance, it is important that you bring your card or a copy of the card with you to your visit. If you do not have health insurance, please let us know during your visit.
