Marianne Glick

Marianne GlickMarianne Glick began her service on Ball State's Board of Trustees in 2006. She is the president and owner of GlickArt and the recently retired president of Glick Training Associates Inc., a firm she founded in 1986 to provide training and consulting services that improve organizational effectiveness.

She also serves on the board of directors for the Eugene & Marilyn Glick Family Foundation, the Gene B. Glick Company, the Central Indiana Community Foundation, United Way of Central Indiana, and the Women's Fund of Central Indiana. Glick received her bachelor's in elementary education and master's in educational psychology from Butler University.

Looking for a way to positively approach the winter months, Glick began painting in September of 2004. Her personal mission is to ignite, inspire, and direct energy for beneficial action. Her paintings allow her to colorfully express her mission and hopefully bring joy to those who view them.

Glick likes to donate paintings to benefit some of her favorite nonprofit organizations. To date, she has donated paintings or proceeds from paintings to the Children's Bureau of Indiana, Women's Fund, Dress for Success, Prevent Blindness Indiana, Joy's House, Girls Inc., Make A Wish Foundation, Planned Parenthood, Ball State University, and Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.

Her honors include an Indiana Woman of Influence award in 2010 from Ball State and a Touchstone award in 2011 from Girls Inc. She lives in Indianapolis.
