Frank Hancock

Frank HancockFrank Hancock was elected vice chair of the Board of Trustees in January 2014 after serving a two-year term as vice president. The duties of the two positions are the same, but the title was changed by the board in 2014. He has been a board member since 2006.

Hancock is the founder and owner of Sport Graphics Inc., an Indianapolis company that works with such big-name clients as the NCAA, several collegiate athletic conferences, the 2012 Super Bowl, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Indiana Pacers. Sport Graphics also has provided new graphic identities for both Scheumann Stadium and Worthen Arena on Ball State’s campus.

Since earning his bachelor’s degree from Ball State in 1970, Hancock has been a fixture in Indianapolis through his community service work on several organization and foundation boards. He has been a board member for the Indiana Black Expo, Indianapolis 500 Festival, Community Hospital Foundation, Ball State Alumni Association, and Indiana Pacers Foundation, among others. Previously, he served as vice president of the school board for the Metropolitan School District of Warren Township.

Hancock and his wife, Linda, live in Indianapolis.
