Effective fall 2010, a $25 fee is charged when applying to graduate. The fee is assessed per degree objective (example: master of arts, associate in science, etc.) and per completed application. The charge is used to defray the cost of reviewing the candidate's academic record and diploma production.

Please remember, graduation is not automatic. You must apply to graduate and declare your intent to participate in a ceremony!  All graduate and undergraduate students who plan to graduate and participate in a ceremony must complete the following two-step process: 

Step 1— Eligible students must complete an application to graduate.  Undergraduate students log into Self-Service Banner (SSB) at my.bsu.edu and click on the "Student" tab, then click on "Student Records", and then "Apply to Graduate." Graduate students go to www.bsu.edu/gradschool to apply.  

Step 2— Participants will need to order the necessary materials such as the cap, gown, and tassel. We ask that you get all your materials early in case something needs to be returned or exchanged.
