Inclement Weather

In case the main ceremony has been moved because of predicted inclement weather from 9-11 a.m. on the day of commencement, the ceremony will begin in Worthen Arena at 10 a.m. with limited seating available.

Undergraduate and master’s degree students will enter Worthen Arena through upper level gates one and two starting at 9 a.m. and proceed to aisles 4, 5, and 6 and be seated per instructions by signs and arena workers. Please be in your seats by 9:45 so the ceremony can start on time at 9:55 with the faculty processional.

Doctoral and specialist in education degree candidates , please report to Worthen Arena at 9 a.m., (lower gate one by ticket office)  and meet your faculty advisor to line up for your processional into the arena at 9:45a.m.  Associate Dean Carolyn Kapinus will provide instructions. For faculty and professional staff  lineup, instructions will be available when you enter the arena at lower level gate one at 9:15 a.m.

Individual college ceremonies will start one hour after the conclusion of the main ceremony, approximately 12:30 p.m., at their college sites (with the exception of the College of Science and Humanities, which will start at 3:30 p.m. in  Worthen Arena, with lineup at 3:00 p.m.; College of Business, which will start at 3:00pm in Emens Auditorium with lineup at 2:30pm; and Teachers College, which will start at 3:00 p.m. in Field and Sports Building with lineup at 2:30 p.m.).
