Mock and Live Scheduling
Mock scheduling is designed to inform academic departments and college dean office of student anticipated enrollment in courses. Demand in excess of 100% seat capacity and demands of less than 50% seat capacity are listed in reports to aid administration in course adjustments. Mock scheduling is performed during the Fall and Spring semesters only.
Approximately two weeks after mock scheduling is completed and academic offices have an opportunity to adjust courses, “live” scheduling is performed and students may be assigned a specific time/location for their requested courses.
*Important* It is extremely important that students participate in the mock scheduling. This is the best method for departments to anticipate demand and adjust course sections and seat counts.
