Full Time/Part Time

As a full time undergraduate student, your child would take anywhere from 12 to 18 semester hours. Most of the courses are 3-credit-hour courses.

We recommend that students take 12 semester hours their first semester, if possible, to give them time to adjust to a new university and program. This is especially important for those who plan on working part time.

Undergraduate students who choose to attend school part-time take between 6-12 credit hours a semester.

Graduate students need to be enrolled in at least 9 semester hours to be considered full time.
