Turn on Firewall

Turning on your computer's firewall is an important recommended step for protecting your computer.  It can help prevent hackers and/or malicious software from gaining access to your computer through the Internet.  It can also be used to prevent your computer from sending malicious software to others.

For information on understanding Windows Firewall settings visit their site. Mac OS users can learn more on the Apple web site.
