Awareness Video and Poster Contests
Educause and Internet2 Higher Education Information Security Council (HEISC) is seeking creative and educational videos or posters on information security to be part of the national campaign to increase information security awareness at colleges and universities.
The 2013 Information Security Awareness Video and Poster Contest is sponsored by CyberWatch and the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA). Winners will receive cash prices. The videos and posters will be featured on the EDUCAUSE Web site and may be sued in campus security awareness campaigns.
If you are interested the videos and posters must explain information security problems and specific actions college and university students can take to safeguard their computers, mobile devices, or personal information. Submission deadline is March 8, 2013.
Prizes:
Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners in each of the three categories (training videos, 30-second public service announcements, and posters).
Video Categories:
Gold (first place) winners will receive $2,000.
Silver (second place) winners will receive $1,500.
Bronze (third place) winners will receive $1,000.
Honorable mention winners (up to 5 in each category) will receive a small prize -- e.g., Amazon gift card.
Poster Category:
Gold (first place) winner will receive $1,500.
Silver (second place) winner will receive $1,000.
Bronze (third place) winner will receive $500.
Honorable mention winners (up to 5 in each category) will receive a small prize -- e.g., Amazon gift card.
