Q: Why is my proposal being withdrawn?
A: If you submitted your proposal to the wrong committee, we will ask that you submit to the correct review committee (Ball State University Aspire Grant Program, Muncie, IN). After you do this, we will then withdraw the initial proposal you submitted to the wrong committee.
Q: I submitted my proposal, but I forgot to include all of my documents. What do I do?
A: To revise, add, or delete documents once you have submitted your application, you will need to have your proposal unlocked by an administrator. You can submit a request to unlock your proposal by contacting the Aspire Program. We will then unlock your proposal and you can add the missing information by going to the Designer screen and clicking on the 'Add New Document' button. When you are finished with your revisions, PLEASE DO NOT RESUBMIT YOUR PROPOSAL. Instead, email the Aspire Program and we will re-lock your proposal and finish the review process. Please note that there is no need to resubmit your package to the committee, as the changes that you have made are instantaneously reflected in the system.
Q: How do I download a form and add it to my proposal?
A: Download the form you need from the Forms and Reference Library drop-down menu, and then fill in the necessary information. From there, you may File>'Save As' to your computer and then come back to the Study Designer screen to 'Add New Document'.
Q: How do I let my mentor sign off on my proposal?
A: In order for your mentor to sign off on your proposal you need to share it with them in IRBNet. For instructions on sharing a proposal in IRBNet, please refer to step 6 in the Creating a New Proposal Instructions.
