Student Opportunities

The Sponsored Programs Office (SPO) provides a number of resources that have direct funding for graduate student research, training or conference participation.

Be aware that the application process may require many months of work and that the applications are typically submitted through a faculty member (mentor) and may require additional certifications for compliance (IRB, IACUC). Keep in mind SPO must approve all grants submitted from Ball State University. You may also want to check our Workshops page for upcoming events in preparing grants and other resources.

Please be advised that only grants for sponsored projects are approved through SPO. Ball State's Scholarships and Financial Aid office can assist students in locating scholarships and student assistance.

(Some awards are exclusively for UCLA students.) Maintained and owned by UCLA's Graduate Outreach, Diversity and Fellowships Office.
