Welcome Week

Held before fall classes start, Welcome Week introduces you to Ball State's vibrant campus life and helps you make connections within our supportive campus community. The program will help you make a fun, smooth transition to college life.

During Welcome Week, you'll have opportunities to explore Ball State's comprehensive resources, meet other students, and attend programs and convocations designed especially for new college students. Past Welcome Weeks have included picnics, service projects, late night entertainment, and more.

Our Welcome Week handbook will provide a listing of all events and activities. If you will be living in the residence halls, you will receive the handbook when you move in. Commuters will be mailed information and a handbook approximately two weeks before the program.

We encourage all first-year students to attend these optional (unless otherwise noted) Welcome Week events! You'll have a good time and get to know campus.
