Admission Requirements

Applying for our master’s degree program in student affairs administration in higher education is a two-tier process.

First, you'll need to gain admission to Ball State’s Graduate School. The criterion includes a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a cumulative baccalaureate grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 or a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in the latter half of your baccalaureate.

Second, you must complete the departmental online application, submit a resume, and the names and contact information for three professional references and attend the Interview Day. The GRE is not required. Learn more about the steps to apply.
