The Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education (SAAHE) Master of Arts program has two tracks.
- Three-semester track
- Four+ semester track
Students in the three-semester track take 12 credit hours in the fall and spring semesters, and six credit hours in the summer. All students in the three-semester track have a graduate assistantship in one of the following administrative areas.
*Note, occasionally a few students in some of these administrative areas may have the option of the four+ semester program rather than the three-semester program.
Students in the four+ semester track take nine credit hours in the fall and spring semesters of years one and two, and they have the option of taking credit hours in the intervening summer semester. All students in the four+ semester track have a graduate assistantship in one of the following administrative areas.
In exchange for 20 hours of work per week, Graduate Assistants receive a waiver of the majority of tuition, plus a stipend (the amount depends upon the office). Students are responsible for a small portion of tuition and all other applicable University fees, both of which depend on the number of enrolled hours. In 2014-15 the other applicable university fees were approximately $1,500 for the fall and spring semesters, and $500 for the summer semester.
