Alcohol Awareness

How much fun can college truly be without the weekend kegger or drinking games at parties? Our answer at Ball State: it can be a lot of fun! We firmly believe this and are committed to making sure you have the information you need to make good, informed choices when it comes to consuming—or not consuming—alcohol.

We start by educating you to make sure you are aware of the risks and consequences of illegal and irresponsible alcohol use. We share sobering statistics from college campuses nationwide and help you understand the effects of excessive drinking. You’ll learn what’s fact and what’s fiction, tips for party safety, and how to look after your friends.

Through our campus-wide publicity efforts, you’ll be reminded of the dangers of drinking, and you’ll also find out about a wide variety of fun, alcohol-free activities and events and alcohol-education programs.
