There are many opportunities to join the University Program Board (UPB).
The Executive Board consists of the president, vice presidents, and committee directors. Committees include Filmworks, Live Entertainment, Marketing, Outreach, and Special Events. The board members are in charge of their respective areas and perform the duties set forth in the posted descriptions for each position. Members are required to hold office hours each week and must attend weekly Executive Board meetings.
Executive Board members are selected through elections each November.
If you have attended your 3 meetings and helped with 2 events you will be made an official member of UPB, and gain voting rights at our meetings and a committee member t-shirt! Membership is open to all students, with no application required.
Come to a UPB meeting to find out more. They are held every week at 9:00 p.m. in the Student Center Room 301.
