- How many people will the Ballroom hold for a wedding reception?
- 200 people is the maximum capacity for a wedding reception, this
leaves room for head table, cake table, and dance floor area.
- Can I bring in my own food?
- No, all meals, buffets, and refreshments must be ordered through
University Catering. They are the exclusive cater for Ball State University.
- Can I have a bar?
- Yes, but only during non-academic times. All bar/liquor service is
provided by University Catering.
- Can I have candles?
- No open flame candles can be used. Only contained votive candles
are permitted.
- What is included in room rental?
- Tables, chairs, staging, and a/v equipment.
- May I decorate the room?
- Yes, all decorations have to be free standing and approved in advance.
- Where do my guests park?
- Parking is available on the east and west parking lots, as well as
lots south of the Student Center. NO permits are necessary on Saturdays
and Sundays.
- I will be having some elderly guests attending my reception, do you have
handicap ramps?
- Yes, there are handicap ramps at the south and north entrances to
the Student Center. Passenger elevator available.
- Are hotel rooms available?
- Yes, 24 rooms and one suite are available.
