Campus Crime Statistics

Ball State publishes crime statistics annually in compliance with the Higher Education Act of 1965 as amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act, which requires all postsecondary institutions participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus security policies and certain crime statistics.

Statistics are published annually on Ball State University's web site. In addition, crime statistics are sent monthly to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The annual report provides statistics for the past three years in the following categories:  crimes committed on campus, in or around non-campus buildings, and on public property.
