Return Policy
Hardware/Accessory Policy
Hardware and accessory returns are accepted within 14 calendar days of the sales date. Item must be returned in the original unopened package with the sales receipt for a full refund. Open hardware items are subject to a 10% restocking fee and must be returned with original packaging. If the hardware or accessory is opened and deemed defective by Unified Technology Support, we can issue an exchange for like merchandise. Refunds or exchanges are not accepted for custom configured products, opened storage devices or products damaged after point of sale.
Software Policy
The Technology Store does not permit the return of opened software or special order software. Opened software may be exchanged for like merchandise if deemed defective by Unified Technology Support. Software returns are accepted within 14 calendar days of the sales date. Item must be returned in the original unopened package with the sales receipt for a refund.
If you paid by check, refunds may take up to two weeks.
All items need to be returned in the original packaging including any accessories, manuals, and documentation.
Dead On Arrival (DOA) Product
A hardware product is considered DOA if it shows symptoms of a hardware failure, preventing basic operability, when you first use it after opening the box. If you believe that your product is DOA, please contact the Technology Store within 30 calendar days of the purchase date. Ball State's Hardware Repair will determine whether the product is DOA and offer you a replacement or repair of the device. If you choose to have the device repaired, you may not later request replacement of the product.
