Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is required by some graduate and professional schools for admission. The MAT is an intensive mental ability test which uses analogies in a multiple-choice format. It is composed of 100 partial analogies that must be completed within a 50-minute time frame. One must be fluent in English, have a broad base of knowledge in literature, philosophy, history, science, mathematics, and fine arts and have the ability to reason out relationship to do well.
