emergency alert system. This system will be used during imminent situations when speed is paramount to ensure public safety. To subscribe, visit the

Please note the unique nature of severe weather. Weather notifications have a very short time frame, and severe storms are often difficult to predict precisely. As a result, the Ball State emergency notification system
will not be used to alert the campus about severe weather watches, warning, or tornadoes. The university will rely on the most effective methods of notification for severe weather: the three campus sirens and announcements on local TV and radio stations.
