Jonathan is a communications manager in University Marketing and Communications. He works on both internal and external communications for various university departments, including the College of Communication, Information, and Media, Teachers College, and University Development. In addition, he plays a key role in creating and placing ads, including billboards, digital, print, and radio. His daily tasks involve managing projects, writing, meeting with clients, and working directly with designers and photographers.
Before returning to his alma mater, Jonathan worked as an account executive for 102.5 WMDH radio. He served as the sales representative for around 100 clients, which ranged from national brands, such as Meijer and Elder Beerman, to local non-profit organizations. He assisted with production and writing, created station promotions, led an effort to increase interactive advertising sales, and helped launch a new morning show.
He has served on marketing boards, such as the Muncie Children’s Museum, and was a member of BNI. Currently, he’s a member of the Hoosier Chapter of Public Relations Society of America.
Jonathan is a graduate of Ball State’s Honors College with a bachelor of arts in public relations. While in college, he interned at Ball State’s University Marketing and Communications and at Community Health Network in Indianapolis
