Unified Technology Support

Unified Technology Support (UTS) provides friendly and knowledgeable technology support for the Ball State community.  Through our wide range of services, we will help you find the answers to your technology questions and provide expertise to help resolve your technology support needs.  

The Tech Center, located in BL 101, is home to several UTS services, including the Concierge Desk, TechTime, the Technology HelpDesk, the Technology Store, as well as the UTS administrative offices. Other UTS services are located in the lower level of Bracken and you will find UTS managed labs in several campus locations.

  • Computer Labs - Learn about our general labs, testing labs and adaptive technology lab.
  • Concierge Desk - Staffed with knowledgeable students and staff, the Concierge Desk is your first stop when visiting the Tech Center in Bracken Library, room 101.
  • Hardware Repair - Where your computer’s hardware gets fixed.  Tech Time, iCare Corner, and Technology HelpDesk staff can refer an issue to Hardware Repair.
  • Technology HelpDesk - A single point of contact for students, faculty, and staff who are faced with technology issues or questions.
  • Technology Store  - Ball State students and employees may view, test, purchase and order the latest technology products from a variety of companies, often with education discount pricing.
  • TechTime - Currently enrolled students who are having difficulties with their personal computers can get assistance with solving their technology issues.
