UTS Tech Center

UTS Tech Center

The Tech Center is located in Bracken Library (BL) 101 and offers technology support in a comfortable and inviting new space.  In addition to the UTS services already housed in Bracken Library such as Instructional Classroom Support and Equipment and Projectionist Services, the Tech Center includes many services previously housed in the Robert Bell Building (RB), including the Technology HelpDesk and Desktop Support, Hardware Repair, TechTime, and the Technology Store (Computer Store). The Tech Center also offers some great new services, including a Concierge Desk and Faculty Apps Cafe'.

UTS General Information

Unified Technology Support (UTS) has brought together technology support professionals from across campus with the goal of providing outstanding technology support for the students, faculty, and staff of Ball State University. We focus on three key things – Help, Fix, and Learn. We will help you fix a problem or learn how to use a new application. We also provide information and guidance to help you use the vast technology resources that you will find across campus.

Through a wide-range of services, UTS will provide a dynamic, energetic, collaborative and enabling environment that encourages the use of emerging technologies and the development of learner centered content and tools.
