Responsibilities:
Provide professional, technical-based support for academic and administrative clients in assigned area. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and network connectivity in both office and lab settings. Provide mentoring for student technical staff. Offer consultation with clients for special projects. Provide medium and long-term resource planning support to departments.
Primary support areas include the departments of College of Communication, Information, and Media, the College of Fine Arts, the School of Music, the departments of Art, Communication Studies, Journalism, Telecommunications, and Theatre and Dance, the Center for Information and Communication Sciences, Art labs, Ball State Daily News, Cardinal Student Radio Station, Indiana Public Radio – WBST, NewsLink Indiana, and WIPB-TV.
