How to Use LifeWorks

First Time User

  1. Enter the user ID “ballstate” and password “cardinals”
  2. Click “Open Life Health Assessment.”
  3. Click “Register.”
  4. Continue to fill out the registration fields. Click “Submit” at the bottom when finished.

Returning Users

  1. Enter the personal ID and password that you created. User ID will be a full email address.
  2. Click “Open Life Health Assessment” and begin taking the assessment.

If you have forgotten your username or password, do not create a new account. Call 1-800-379-4147 or click “Forgot your password.”

  1. Use your personal ID and password that you created. Your user id will be a full email address.
  2. Click “Open Wellness Tools.”
  3. At the top, click the “Track Exercise” link. A drop-down box will appear. Click “Connect your Device.”
  4. Select the device that you would like to sync. Click “connect” and follow prompts.

Option A: Sync Your Fitbit to LifeWorks

  1. Log into
  2. Click on “Open Wellness Tools.”
  3. Click on “Track Exercise.”
  4. Click on “Connect your Device.”
  5. Choose your device and click “Connect.”

Option B: Enter Your Steps Manually on the LifeWorks Website

  1. Log into
  2. Click on “Open Wellness Tools.”
  3. Click on “Track Exercise.”
  4. Click on “Step Log.”
  5. Enter your daily total steps.

Option C: Download the HealthyNow+ Mobile App

  1. Log into
  2. Click on “Open Wellness Tools.”
  3. Click on “HealthyNow.”
  4. Enter your cell phone number.
  5. Select a four-digit PIN.
  6. Select your cell phone provider.

From your cell phone: download the free HealthyNow app

  1. Enter your cell phone number.
  2. Enter the portal code: lifeworks.
  3. Enter your four-digit PIN.

You should be connected to your Lifeworks account now. Tap on “Steps” to enter your total daily steps manually.

  2. Click the "Incentive" tab to log your activities and earn incentive points.
  3. Select the date of the activity.
  4. Check the box next to the activity.
  5. Click "Update" to save your points.
