Operations and Response Plan
A committee of Ball State leaders has worked, in coordination with local and county officials, to create an
Influenza Pandemic Operations and Response Plan for the university.
The plan provides background on pandemic influenza and lists the roles and responsibilities of university personnel in the event of a pandemic.
It also includes a response plan that will serve as a guideline to assist university personnel in responding to an influenza pandemic on campus. While not every scenario can be predicted, plans have been developed to protect human life and assist all areas of the university in responding to anticipated events.
The plan is reviewed regularly and continually updated as needed.
