Ball State's 660-acre campus in the heart of Muncie, Indiana, includes 102 academic, administrative, auxiliary, and residential buildings valued at more than $1 billion. The university also has nearly 400 additional acres of research property. About 4,760 students live on campus in 11 residence hall complexes and two apartment communities.
