Ball State has nearly 950 full-time faculty members. About 90 percent of all tenured and tenure-track faculty hold terminal degrees in their disciplines, and many have years of professional experience in their areas. Overall, the university is one of the area's largest employers with more than 2,800 full-time faculty, staff, and service employees. Jo Ann M. Gora is Ball State's 14th president.
